In 2012, Badenoch married Hamish Badenoch, a banker, and the couple now has three children. Her political career began in 2015 when she was elected to the London Assembly, followed by a 2017 election to Parliament. In the years that followed, she held various government roles, including trade and business secretary, under multiple prime ministers. Her journey involved significant challenges, including a high-profile resignation from Boris Johnson’s government in 2022 amidst ethics controversies.

Her goals for the British government are clear: “rewire, reboot, and reprogram.”

She openly criticizes multiculturalism, “identity politics,” and gender-neutral bathrooms, while also opposing certain environmental regulations aimed at reducing carbon emissions.
